Pak bowlers scored a lot of runs in the match against New Zealand in Bangalore.  Meanwhile, Haris Rauf, who is considered the backbone of the Pace attack, has set an unexpected record.  Harris Rauf has become the bowler who has hit the most number of sixes in this season of ODI World Cup.  New Zealand scored 401 runs in 50 overs against Pakistan at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.  Haris Rauf scored 85 runs in 10 overs in the match.  This time Rauf hit his 16th six in this World Cup.  He then became the top scorer in terms of most sixes in a season in the ODI World Cup.

Earlier this record was held by Zimbabwean fast bowler Tinshey Panyangara.  He hit 15 sixes in the 2015 World Cup.  Then there are Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan in this list.  Both players hit 14 sixes each in World Cup 2019.
Talking about today’s Pakistan vs New Zealand match, Pakistan beat New Zealand by 21 runs under DLS rules.  The match was not completed due to rain, which allowed Pakistan to bat quickly.  New Zealand set Pakistan a target of 402 runs to win.  Fakhar Zaman (126) played a great century innings for Pakistan.  Pakistan scored 200 runs for the loss of one wicket in 25.3 overs.  Pakistan team was declared the winner due to rain.  According to DLS rules, Pakistan won by 21 runs.  Rachin Ravindra played an innings of 108 runs for New Zealand, Williamson scored 95 runs.
